Maidens Lighthouse - Reduction in Range of Navigational Light

The Commissioners of Irish Lights hereby give notice that on or about 01 July 2017, or as soon thereafter as circumstances permit, the present light will be replaced with a new rotating LED light. The range of the light will be reduced to 18 Nautical Miles. The present character and phasing will remain unchanged. The new light will be shown in the hours of darkness only.

Radio Navigation Warnings will be issued when the above changes take place.
