The Commissioners of Irish Lights hereby give notice that on 9th June 2000 or as soon thereafter as circumstances permit, a temporary trial buoy will be established as follows:

The purpose of this buoy is to test its conspicuity in the location and the effectiveness of new lantern technology, with special regard to the requirements of high-speed vessels using the Port of Larne.
A Radio Navigational Warning will be issued when the buoy is established.
