The Commissioners of Irish Lights hereby give notice that on Thursday 13th March 2003, or as soon thereafter as circumstances permit, the existing Gas Powered Lights at Metal Man (A6244) and Oyster Island (A6244.1) Lighthouses will be replaced by new synchronised Solar Electric Powered Lights.

The position, character, phasing and lighting times of the existing and new lights are as follows:
