Hook Head Lighthouse reduction in range of navigational light

The Commissioners of Irish Lights hereby give notice that on or about 30 November 2015, or as soon thereafter as circumstances permit, the present light at Hook Head will be replaced with a new LED light of reduced range as recommended in the 2010 Aids to Navigation Review. This will necessitate the provision of a temporary light for a period of approximately one week from the evening of 23 November 2015.
