The Commissioners of Irish Lights hereby give notice that on or about 15 February 2011, or as soon thereafter as circumstances permit, the existing South Long Buoy will be changed to a Starboard Lateral Mark, repositioned, and its light synchronized with the Splaugh Buoy. These changes are as a result of recommendations in the 2010 Aids to Navigation Review.

Shift: 1.5 cables to south west (230°)
New Position (WGS 84)
Latitude:  52° 14.740'N
Longitude:  06° 15.800'W
Change to a Starboard Lateral
New Character:   Fl (2) G 6s
Synchronised with the Splaugh Buoy
(Lat: 52°14.363'N Long: 06°16.784'W)
