Interruption in Differential GSP (DGPS) Service

The Commissioners of Irish Lights hereby give notice that on 19 June 2013, or as soon thereafter as circumstances permit, the DGPS Service at Mizen Head Lighthouse (A6448) will be unavailable for a period of approximately 4 days to allow for the construction of two new masts.

DGPS coverage throughout this period will be maintained through overlapping coverage from adjacent stations.

The range and frequency of the restored DGPS Service will be unchanged.

Radio Navigation Warnings will be issued when the above changes take place.
