The Commissioners of Irish Lights hereby give notice that on the 25th September 2003, or as soon thereafter as circumstances permit, the present light at Inishtearaght Lighthouse (A6408) in position 52°04.5' N, 10° 39.7' W will be replaced by a new Solar Powered Light. This will necessitate the provision of a temporary light for a period of approximately one week from the 18th September 2003.

The character, phasing, range, and lighting times of the existing, temporary, and new solar powered lights are as set out below. The arc of visibility will remain unchanged.
