Re positioning of the Smiths Buoy

Area: South Coast of Ireland, Off Ballycotton

The Commissioners of Irish Lights hereby give notice that on 06 June 2019, or as soon thereafter as circumstances permit, the existing Smiths Buoy will be repositioned approximately 0.18 Nautical Miles in a direction of 171°(T).

Radio Navigation Warnings will be issued when the above change takes place. This change is required to take account of new hydrographic survey data in the area of Smiths Rock.
