Temporary withdrawal of Coningbeg Lightfloat

The Commissioners of Irish Lights hereby give notice that on Sunday 5th September 2004, or as soon thereafter as circumstances permit, the Coningbeg Automatic Lightfloat (A5832) will be withdrawn from station for maintenance purposes for a period of approximately thirty days. During this period the Lightfloat will be replaced by a high focal plane buoy, having the following characteristics:-

Longitude

 06° 39.448' W

 
At the same time, and for the same period, the CBXP buoy (Position: 52° 03.459' N, 06° 39.265' W, CIL Notice No. 4 of 2004 refers) will be temporarily withdrawn from station.

Radio Navigational Warnings and notices will be issued during the course of the withdrawal and return to station of the lightfloat and buoy.
