Establishment of an Experimental Buoy in place of the Existing Bennet Bank Buoy

The Commissioners of Irish Lights hereby give notice that on the 17th October 2003, or as soon as practicable thereafter, the Bennet Bank Buoy will be replaced by an experimental buoy. The purpose of this change is to test the performance of new buoy power generation and lantern technology. The details of the buoy will be as follows:
