The Commissioners of Irish Lights hereby give notice that on the 21st March 2002 or as soon thereafter as circumstances permit, the light at Broadhaven Lighthouse (A6266) will be altered as follows:

Range:	White: 12 nautical miles Red: 9 nautical miles
Sectors:	White: Shore to 355° Red: 355° to shore
Height above MHWS:	27 metres
Lighting Time:	Hours of Darkness only
NEW LIGHT
Character:	Isophase WR 4 secs
Range:	White: 17 nautical miles Red: 12 nautical miles
Sectors:	White: 133° - 355° Red: 355° - 021° Obscured: 021° - 110° Red: 110° - 133°
Height above MHWS:	27 metres
Lighting Time:	Hours of Darkness only

Radio Navigational Warnings will be issued when the above alterations take place.
