The Commissioners of Irish Lights hereby give notice that on or about 8 January 2009, or as soon thereafter as circumstances permit, the fog signal at Haulbowline Lighthouse (A 5928) will be permanently discontinued.
The Geographical Position (WGS 84) of the lighthouse is:

 

Latitude	54° 01.196'N
Longitude	06° 04.740'W

All other characteristics of Haulbowline Lighthouse will remain unchanged.
Radio Navigation Warnings will be issued when the above change takes place.
