The Commissioners of Irish Lights hereby give notice that from 1 December 2011, the Carrick Rock Beacon at Greenore Point in the approaches to Rosslare Harbour will be disestablished and no longer maintained as an Aid to Navigation.  This change was recommended in the 2010 Navigation Review.

The geographical position (WGS84) and details of this beacon are ―

Carrick Rock Beacon
Latitude	52°14.543'N
Longitude	006°18.336'W
Type	Port Hand Beacon Red Steel Pole with Can Topmark and Initials CR
