Irish Lights is seeking a Planning, Policy and Development Manager to join their senior management team. This role reports directly to the Director of Navigation, Maritime and Consenting, and the successful candidate will:
- Lead on future planning for Navigation Safety services in the context of ongoing developments in the maritime sector and regulatory change
- Support related engagement with national and international stakeholders
- Translate future requirements and opportunities in the maritime area into the design, development and delivery of key services
- Be responsible for department level project progress tracking, updates and status reporting.
The ideal candidate must have senior leadership experience with a degree level or equivalent qualification relating to maritime policy, regulation, engineering, safety or science. A track record in designing, developing and delivering new strategies and services as a response to policy and regulatory changes is also essential.
