Irish Lights is recruiting a skilled electronic technician to join our Coastal Operations Team as an Electronic and Navigation Systems Lead.

The successful candidate will work closely with the team in fault analysis and rectification of critical defects and outages in the Aids to Navigation (AtoN) System. They will be expected to provide feedback to the Design Team to help identify improvements to system design and performance.

They will lead the roll out, including pre-assembly, preparation and testing, of navigation equipment in conjunction with the Navigation, Maritime and Consenting (NMC) and Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) departments.

The candidate must be an experienced electronic technician with a relevant professional qualification. Knowledge of marine Aids to Navigation, including Automatic Identification Systems (AIS) will be an advantage.
