The Irish Lights research support programme ??? includes collaboration with educational institutions whereby research and development is facilitated through a partnership model.
The programme aims to deliver:
- development of marine safety technologies
- evaluating the quality of marine environment sensor equipment
- collection, analysis and distribution of Met-ocean data
- futures thinking in marine educational infrastructure;
- coastal safety and security;
- support for learning, innovation and knowledge transfer in higher education into industry.
