Dundalk Lighthouse - Removal of Red Sector

The Commissioners of Irish Lights hereby give notice that on Wednesday 9 April 2008, or as soon thereafter as circumstances permit, a temporary light with a range of 10nm White / 9nm Red will be established at Dundalk (Pile) Lighthouse. The other characteristics of the light will remain unchanged.

On Saturday 19 April 2008, or as soon thereafter as circumstances permit the RED sector will be permanently removed from the navigational lights at Dundalk (Pile) Lighthouse and a new white light with a range of 21nm will be established.
